I have a Compaq laptop that is silver. I have worn a spot on the touchpad. Can I buy a special paint to repaint the surface?

A plastic Paint would work, but why? you'll just wear that off, and the paint might change the capacitance of the "Touch Pad" making it inoperable.......my advice treat it as a badge of experience (just like I do my "Bald" spotLOL ) and leave well enough alone

This is what I was wondering if it would change the capacitance...
