There are 4 USB ports on my laptop The two USB ports at the rear are malfunctioning. When a device is plugged in either they won't get sufficient power or it will fluctuate on and off. At present I'm using the remaining 2 ports
and I wonder when they will start exhibiting the same symptoms

    Suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

Buy a powered USB hub, plug that into one of the two remaining working ports and use it instead of the remaining working port. Hopefully, it will keep the port it is plugged into working.
A powered hub has a power cord which connects to an electrical outlet; that supplies the power rather than the computer.
