My page file in my PC is at about 500-600megs. I upgraded my RAM from 1gb to 1.5 in my laptop. Hoping it would make a little difference but I don't really see any.

Could anyone give me some tips?

Page file should be set manually, usually it is 150% of RAM. For example, I have 512 MB, so I should have 768 MB. For you it should be 2304 MB xP. A small size of page file, sometimes may cause slow work of machine.

Generally your page file should be one and half times the ram installed.
