Lcd Screen has a green tint to it ?

    My lcd screen , if viewing a black Desktop wallpaper you can see it has a green tint when it should be black ? whats wrong with my screen ?

    Try turning down the Bright and/or the Contrast just a little bit. When I bought a new LCD and hooked it up, all black areas were kind of greyish-greenish-whitish until I started playing with the Contrast and Bright controls. I got to just one or two 'clicks' past the "glow" so all black areas are truly pitch black.
