   How can I check to find if someone (my ex-boyfriend ) has installed keylogger software onto my computer? I understand that adaware and most other spyware search programs will not find that type of software because it has been intentionally installed.
   
   I don't have enough knowledge to figure out how to find it embedded on my hard drive?
   
   Can anyone shed any light on this?

   But if you are the Admin of the PC, why not also look in Add/Remove programs to see if you can find anything installed you do not recognize.
