Lexmark printer problem i cant fix

Hi there

I have a Lexmark X5150 and have a problem that it only prints three quarters of the page from side to side.
When at rest the cartridge idles on the left hand side, when a job prints it prints the first line then starts to hit the right hand side of the interior of the printer. When it has printed 3-5 cm of the page it aborts and the sheet is fed through. The sheet has a very wide margine on the left and prints off the page on the right.
Does anybody have a clue as to what to do to rectify the situation.

Perhaps reinstall the driver. Driver for XP and system information utility program

I had 1 Lexmark printer years ago and it turned into junk like many Lexmarks do.
