Hi, I'm moving into my college dorm in a few days and my roomate and I were discussing wireless routers for use with our laptops. I know Linksys is a good brand and my local Best Buy has a sale on these two models:

The only difference between the two models is the bottom one has the SpeedBooster for $20 extra. Does anyone know if it's worth it? Is this SpeedBooster legit, does it actually work and will it come in handy in a college dorm?

    Any help is appreciated.

Speedbooster only works with Speedbooster enabled cards. If you dont have one, then its not worth it.
