Umm, Ok, what exactly are we talking about logging into? A managed switch? a router? a cable/adsl router? Have you changed any settings in etheral recently? What do you mean by "logging on"? Logging onto the internet, or onto the management console (if its a router of some sort?)

Looks like a configurable router from the cryptic clue at the end there... http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?prid=20&grid=5, so ill make a wild guess youre trying to log onto the www console.

Im guessing XPH means XP Home, and ZAP = Zone alarm pro? and Norton Internet Security? Are you running them both? if so, why?

    Englighten me, please!

Using cable modem w/ Linksys BEFSR41,
set up per instructions on http://www.2kevin.net/router.html
& Zone alarm pro 4. for software firewall,
Norton Internet Security for the anti virus.
    Yes, XP Home.
I've always used WallWatcher w/ np, now it opens, runs, logs nothing.
Haven't really done anything diff other then Windows' Updates.
Would appreciate any helpful suggestions as to correct this or what to look for.
    It just stopped! ok!
