Hi, I have Linux on my laptop, it is a Gateway, and for the life of me I cannot find any app that lets me hear sound. Do you have a suggestion?

    1. What "linux" is on the Gateway? There are over 200 different distros.
    2. What model Gateway? If I'm going to search to see what hardware, I have to know the model.
    3. You do not use an app to hear sound. You need to install a linux driver. To do that, I need to know the distro and the sound chip so I can see if your distro includes a driver for your hardware.
