Logged into user account, default download location is to administrator desktop

On my Windows Vista computer, I have an administrator and a user account. I usually always log on the user account. However, the default download location is to the administrator account for some reason. When I click the desktop link over on the left of the IE download pane, it's to the administrator desktop, not the user desktop. Also, in Spyware Blaster, not all of the protection was enabled, so I'm concerned that something is running amuck in my system.

Has anyone heard of IE not realizing that the logged in user is not logged in with the administrator account?
