Logs attched - This is for a 2nd computer in the House

    I'm not double posting. I'm just working on cleaning another computer in the house.

    Here are the logs for this one. I had no problems running anything and the computer seems fine now but I'd still like a set of educated eyes to check my logs

    .........OK. Scratch that part about everything seems fine. Just like the other computer I'm working on, I can't seem to upload the SAS log.:confused:confused Did I save it wrong twice???

    Your logs look clean. However lets do these things:

    Run this: Disable/Remove Windows Messenger to remove Windows Messenger. Do not confuse Windows Messenger with MSN Messenger because they are not the same. Windows Messenger is a frequent cause of popups.

    Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

    Now Copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.
    Make sure that you tell me if you receive a success message about adding the above
    to the registry. If you do not get a success message, it definitely did not work.

    If you get a success message, then it is time to do our final steps:

    I"m working on the above instruction, but in the mean time, here is the SAS log I had trouble downloading before.

    When it finished and the Notepad opened I saved a copy to my desktop for easy finding. I shortened the name to SASlog.text. I must have saved it as "All file types or something?? ...and not a text file.. Either way it doesn't matter now. Here it is.

    Ok I did this but I checked the box that said remove Messenger. ....completely ...I didn't just run it on the default settings ...I changed the checked boxes .....is that OK?



    .....And because I wiped out Messenger completely in the first step, I didn't find the 2 last ones (O9 Extra Button..... and O9 Extra 'Tool"...) But I did find and fix the first one.

    I got the Success message!

    Ok! I'm working on this right now:)
