Long Beep

    I have a friend's computer and upon boot up, it beeps (not normal post). It's one loooooooong beep and then repeats itself after a couple seconds off. Over and Over and .......

    I know it worked 2 weeks ago when I "optimized" (ad-aware, spybot, window washer, AVG, etc) it for her and gave it back to her it was running fine.

    Any ideas what the problem is?

    she'll need to look the the manual of her computer or contact the pc manufacturer to find out what the post codes mean. if the pc is custom built, she'll need to look in the motherboard manual for the post codes.

    going off commonality, i believe a long beep is faulty video card. but i may be wrong.
