    Hey

I know this question has probably be asked alot of times but i need to know. Are there any good free anti-virus programs? Ones that are updated and ones that i can trust.

I saw these one ClamAV and AntiVir Personal Edition,

    Are they any good?

    Thanks

Antivir is pretty good, from everything I've heard.
Personally, I like AVG Free edition.
Avast is another I've come to trust (although I don't typically use it too often)

They should be available on this site (check the Av download section)

I didn't like ClamWin. Found it was a high CPU load when scanning, and didn't update very well.

It is probably good practice to back these apps up with online scanners such as bitdefender and or kaspersky or trend micro's. Since these are not applications per se (more like activex controls - nomenclature is a little tricky), they will not conflict with your main AV.

You can google those. Pretty easy.
