Hello =) I'm new to the forums, although I've been an avid fan of the great advice around here. I'm certainly no guru, but I've learned some odds and ends here. But this has stumped me. I wanted to check with you guys before I moved on to the official forums.

About two months ago or so I revamped my computer. Had to reinstall Windows because it had become corrupt (surprise, surprise). It was great, I got programs and everything downloaded to STOP malware and other miscellaneous things from entering into my system. Well, now, I'm stumped.

I just redownloaded Ragnarok Online, for anyone out there familiar with the game. As I was loading up the installations...I had the weirdest problem. My computer...slowed down. Like, really slow. And then it froze (this all happened for approximately 18-20 minutes). I noticed however, that it has something to do with ZoneAlarm and its update manager. Whether I'm right or wrong, who knows, but I noticed the difference of having it not running vs. having it running. The speed difference is quite significant. But, I ran through the Malware Removal guide and I'll give what I've got here. I didn't run a few programs; and that may be to my fault, if you want me to go over the steps, that's perfectly fine.

But here's what I've got so far.

Also, some of my text on my computer is in Spanish, and that's why I've gotten a little...well, freaked out.

Here are some more logs. I also reinstalled ZoneAlarm, this time only using its Firewall as directed. I am now using avast! Antivirus, and I found a virus in a file with the Panda Activescan. Deleted it, of course, my computer's running fine now; but you never know, right?

That was a false positive and it is mentioned in step 6 of the READ ME.

Your logs are clean but you missed one item from step 0 of the READ ME and another important point of updating Sun Java in step 6.

Uninstall the below old versions of software:
Viewpoint Media Player <-- should have been uninstalled in step 0 of the READ ME
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11

Make sure you reboot after uninstalling the above!

After reboot, now install the current version of Sun Java from: Sun Java Runtime Environment
