   Does anyone know a good program used to test IDE ports? We've tried testing the hard drive and it's good, so we're seeing if maybe the IDE is broken.

   A little program called pc-check would check the IDE ports for ya. Unfortunately you have to pay for it so i don't know where you could find it.
