Looking for something besides Geeksquad(???)

Help..please...Need to find something to fix and protect my toshiba lappy. I have no protection and need to fix some inner problems. I'm sure that at least one person here can hook me up with some good info..

Geeksquad or any other place that fixes computers is going to charge you a lot of money for something you could do yourself with the help of folks on forums like this one. But you need to be more specific about your "inner problems." You also need to provide the make and model of the computer.
