    Hello guys,

Been having a few problems recently. When I load windows (XP home) it doesn't show all users, just my name.

I keep getting 'userinit' and 'Windows logon UI' problems. A box will come up saying something like 'Data Execution Prevention - windows is shutting this down'.

Eventually, sometimes, I get in - like now.

I have did my best with the Run and Read Me First Stuff, but couldn't get SAS to complete a scan - the PC just crashes after a few minutes. Combofix doesn't run either. I have attached MAM log and MGTOOLS log.

    Hope you can help.

Why are you running this PC with no protection??? In the past you have been given instructions for properly protecting your PC. If you do not follow them this time, you will be refused help in the future. I'm sorry but we just do not have time to help people who refuse to help themselves. We are way to busy for this.

These may or may not be malware problems.

Did you try doing what the instructions requested. See this: SUPERAntiSpyware - running & getting a log and notice the part that stated the below
You Malwarebytes log shows you took no action. You need to make sure that you fix the problems BEFORE saving the log. Let's be safe and run a new scan after updating the program. Now run a new full scan of your system. And attach this new log.
[/list]Now run Malwarebytes and click the Update tab. Then click the Check for Updates button so you update to the current version of the program and database. Then run a new scan with it too. Attach the new log.

You need to uninstall one of the causes of your infections. Uninstall MessengerPlus! 3 now as requested in step 1 of the READ & RUN ME.

Upon further reading of your logs, it is actually already too late for you this time. Since you had not properly protected your PC, you Windows Operating system files a have become infected and there is no reliable fix for this other than a total clean reinstall from scratch. You have many malware problems, but the one that has infected the Windows system files will just keep spawning itself each time we try to fix a file, another infected file will just reinfect it.

You need to backup personal important data (do not back any executable or downloads....etc) and then you need to reinstall.

ok thanks chas - I can get in, eventually.

I shall do as suggested but would appreciate some advice on protection (non-invasive) in the future.
