If the router looses all connectivity ? after resetting the router, and finally being able to log onto the router for ADMIN configuring ? and still not receiving or transmitting any packets ? is the router bad and need replacing ? Checked in with linkcity, and they ran a test to show that the line was good and transmitting. this is not a wireless system but a cat5 LAN system. Have any suggestions please answer !!!

    Hi

What Router make and model do you have?

If you can connect to the admin panel from your PC then its likely that the connection from your PC to the router is ok, so its more like on the face of it the settings of your router, and is this the router/modem that connects you direct to your ISP, if so then check the connection settings to your ISP are correct as some have specific settings.

If you have a separate modem and router, then see if you can get the internet directly from the modem and its ethernet port.

But possibility is the router is dead.
