Hi I'm new to this site. I am trying to hook my Iomega Zip 100 to my new computer and I can't seem to locate any of the installation disks. Does anyone know where I can download the program so I don't have to pay again? College student here!! No money!!
    Thanks!!
    Lauren

serial number RBJJ3853T9 Model #: Z100P2 P/N 02941B02 and the FCC ID is DDXZ100P2. I have no idea what all that means but hopefully it helps. Oh it also has the optional printer cable. I hope that gives more info. Thank you for your help.. :)

You should be able to find everything you need on Iomega's site. I have done this a couple times for different zip drives and systems.

Still slightly stuck Lauren as you havnt told use which operating system ( OS ) your using, but I now know which is your Zip drive model and all you need to do is pick your OS from the list below and download the drivers.

Good and helpfull thing is the iomega site tells you in RED what your current OS is to help.

once you have correctly ID'd your OS then your taken to the downloads applicable to your Zip.. you will find instruction manuals and Download Software & Drivers to get you running again :)

A month later I am facing the same problem as Lauren. After I clean re-installed my system software I went to iomega support site to upgrade my Zip100 USB drivers. Only to find out that my 1999 Zip100 is considered antiquated and is not supported by iomega anymore. The latest version of iomegaware, as it's called today, is not compatible with my Mac OS 9.2 and suggested version 3.0.4 for my OS is not offered for download anymore. I stored all my files on zips before perfoming clean re-install, downloaded the latest iomega drivers and tried to copy them back to the hard drive. I cannot open most of the files on the zips, all I am getting is an error message. I guess I try first to google out that suggested version elsewhere, and then to ask iomega chat room. So far, all I was able to get from their support site is to get a new Zip750. My resume, promo, all picts of my work is on those zips.
    Any idea anyone?

    Thanks, Blanka

Thanks for your suggestion. I found the driver finally, but the solution was the broken hardware. My old Zip simply croaked on me. Simetimes it pays to check the gizmo itself.
