Hi - I am having some serious problems with my Laptop after messing around with installing and uninstalling firewalls.

I installed Outpost by Agnitum, but got some kind of error message, so I uninstalled it, then installed it again, still couldn't use it, so uninstalled it and installed COMODO. I was still having some problem and I still had an Outpost icon on my task bar so I did a search and deleted everything with Outpost or Agnitum. For one night everything was working great, but next time I looked (about 2:00am) I had lost wireless connection. Now I have lost my network adaptors, but there are about 4 or 5 "miniports" named Agnitum. I thought I'd uninstall them but the system won't let me, it says they're required for boot-up. They have a cross through them, the others have an exclamation mark in them, but there is no ethernet adaptor.

I tried reinstalling Windows XP, but that didn't make any difference, so then I was thinking about buying an external hard drive and copying all my files over to it, and doing a total Reinstallation. In the meantime I was thinking about installing Lynux so that I can at least use email and webbrowsing. (I'm writing this on someone elses computer).

Any ideas? I really don't know where to go from here.
