Loud Machine

    Hey, Im in need for some help!!!

    i have a sony vaio desktop computer. It seems to be making a lot of noise lately. Is there anything i can do to quiet it?! Thanks for any help!!

    Start by cleaning
    Dust can make fans/bearings dirty which can make em noisey.
    Dust can make your system run hotter some fans are thermally controled so Hotter can make em rum faster which can make em louder.
    Sometimes HDD's/CD DVD drives with age & wear or even dying can get loud or noisey

    but i cleaned everything and its still noisy! what else can i do

    Ok now you have cleaned the inside of the PC, did you clean all the fins of the fans, some air in a can helps,

    can you narrow down the area or what hardware seems the loudest?

    as ASUS said mostly its a fan that is wearing out, what does the noise sound like?

    Does it sound loud then get slightly better the longer the PC is on.
