    Hi

I have noticed a gradual slow down in speed on my PC and last week did some cleaning with info from a FAQ guide from the site to speed up performance. Ran CC cleaner, IOBIT Malwarebytes etc as suggested. I often follow the guides though had not done so for some time if honest.

However, i saw some strange files on my PC which i did not know what they were when doing so, which did not get fixed or deleted.

Some of these were in a few new folders which i think was portuguese for documents & settings, and were spurious file names. There was a lot of bmp images and some .exe files.

I also saw some strange files created which seemed to be control panel extensions, which were created about the same date as the suspicious files.

Yesterday, i received a warning from google that my website had malware on
    Code:
    http://childjuniorisa.co.uk/
. Not sure if this is connected or not so thoughts really appreciated. The site is wordpress and in the upload folder there were 10-20 php files which should not have been there and also 2 zip files, named satan.zip

Also, there was a bit of javascript that was creating an iframe on the pages of the site. This had been added to the widget sidebar function of wordpress.

I deleted the files, changed passwords and removed the javascript. Whilst the site is still blocked i can not see the dodgy iframe in the source code.

I have this morning followed the xp malware removal process and attached all logs.

I would really appreciate some help and guidance, many thanks

Rerun Hitmanpro and have it delete what it finds.

    Delete these files:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\dldo
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\xGT2o97Y.exe

    Delete this folder:
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\hBJCyUZ9H0GAZsy

    Reboot, has it still gone?

Unfortunately we are unable to assist with the removal of malicious code from your website.

Possibly an upgrade in memory might serve you well for "slowness" :)

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /uninstall, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Go back to step 6 of the READ ME and renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it.
    4. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    5. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    6. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    7. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    8. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders
related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    9. If you are running Win 7, Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures pointed to by step 7 of the READ ME
for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    10. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

    Hi

It has been a couple of days and am afraid it seems as bad if not worse than ever.

The system is so slow, after 10-15 mins the CPU usage is still 85-100%

The sound hangs up, and loading web pages and applications is dreadful

I do worry i have deleted some files which were required before requesting help.

There is a sqlservr.exe process running which uses a lot of resources at the start, but even once that has calmed down the CPU usage remains very high.

I have ran the malware process again and seems pretty clean. Help much appreciated

I am sorry to hear you're toughing it out a bit there. But as you say, the logs are clean that you attached apart from what I asked you to remove.

You can try posting about it in the software forum. :)
If there is still malicious code in you website, I'm afraid we cannot help with that as you know.

    Thanks for quick response.

As an aside, the website is completely clean now, that is not my concern here and now.

Its my PC am really hoping for some help with as it is close to unuseable.

I do have a system restore point should i try going back to that?

Like I said, possible a memory upgrade would help you out. Or you might like to post in the software forum to see what the guys and gals in there advise.
