Hello , firstly thank you for taking the time to look at this post.

    System specs
    p4 3gig, 2* 512 ram 80 gig maxtor HDD all on an Aopen mx4 M/B

i am experiencing problems whilst trying to open web pages,
anything that requires me to log in just locks up and fails to open.
i have carefully tried run through all of the steps recomended before submitting any reports
and once i had finished the extensive testing everything seemed to be fine so i didnt submit any results as i thought that all was well,
a couple of days later and it would appear all is the same so i ran it all again and all was once again fine then the next day and im sitting here futilely waiting
for web pages to open and they dont.
    This is driving me mad!!!
Please have a look at things and help if you can, the only problem that i feel may be of relevance is that i was not able to run the online scans whilst in safe mode
so reverted to normal then ran them .
    Many thanks in advance Scott.

First, run CCleaner to clean up cookies and temp files.

Reset Web Settings & Default Security Settings:

    To Reset Web Settings:
Right click on your desktop Internet Explorer icon and select Properties. Then click the Programs tab and then click "Reset Web Settings". Now go back to the General tab and set your home page address to something useful like www.majorgeeks.com. Click Apply. Click Delete Cookies, Click Delete Files and select Delete all Offline content too, Click OK. When it finishes Click OK.

If you do not have an Internet Explorer icon on your Desktop, click Start, Control Panel (for some systems it may be Start, Settings, Control Panel), Internet Options, Programs tab and then click "Reset Web Settings". Now go back to the General tab and set your home page address to something useful like www.majorgeeks.com. Click Apply. Click Delete Cookies, Click Delete Files and select Delete all Offline content too, Click OK. When it finishes Click OK

    To Default Security Settings:
Right click on your desktop Internet Explorer icon and select Properties. Then click the Security Tab and click Default Level for Internet, Local Intranet, Trusted Sites, and Restricted Sites.

After you complete the above, let me know if problem remains.
