Malware Problem Cnsmin.exe Help please!!!

    Hi Everyone :)

    This is my first post on these kinda forums never needed the help before so if i've missed something out please let me know and i'll try do it :)

    Ok so i've got this problem:~

    I have a file and some registry keys that belong to Cnsmin.exe which i looked up and apparantly it's this...
    "CnsMin.exe is another keyword-lookup provider that takes over the search feature of IE's address bar. It is aimed at providing keywords using Chinese characters."
    I'm sure i've had this problem before but it uninstalled/removed fine when using Adaware SE Free Edition but the last few times i have tried since i have it back it's cause my windows to error whilst booting up, the welcome screen appears then when loading the desktop etc it just idles so i have to ctrl+alt+del close Explorer.exe then re-run it for it to bootup just so i can then try and get System Restore working to restore to the point before i used adaware to remove it :eek: it's driving me insane :(

    When i scan it finds the regkeys in the internet explorer extensions section in local machine if that makes sense :confused:

    Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.
    • Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
    • Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
    • After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
    • When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too (these scans are covered in steps 6 & 7 of the READ & RUN ME sticky)
      • Bitdefender
      • Panda Scan
      • HijackThis
