Malware Removal Gone Horribly Wrong

    Hi I was/am infected by the Worm.Win32.NetSky virus. I've used your website before and had fantastic results, so naturally, I came here first to try and fix the problem.

    I was following your instructions on removing malware. I successfully completed steps 1-5 of the READ & RUN ME FIRST Malware Removal Guide. I was up to step 6 which is the actual cleaning procedure. I followed step 1 exactly as it was written, so I began step 2. I installed, configured as per your instructions and ran SUPERAntiSpyware, which found about 45 issues. At the end I cleaned whatever it found and was told to restart the computer. Well upon restarting, it boots up ok but when you get to the blue XP welcome screen and hear the logon sound, then almost immediately you hear the logoff sound and find yourself at the account selection screen. I only have one account on my computer so i clicked it again and the same thing, it logs on and off.

    I can't even logon to my computer at all...HELP!!!

    Some malware is now corrupting system files. So when SAS removes an infected file, it may compromise your ability to boot. Please try doing the below:

    How to recover from a corrupt registry.
