Malware removal guidelines ineffective!!

    HELP!

    Every virus remover or spyware program I use - shuts down in both safe mode and the regular start up. I have attempted to use the Windows XP Recovery and it says that one or more of the files is unrecoverable. The only tools I have access to is Task Manager and the Run function, SMITFRAUDFIX.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    What exactly do you mean by this? Are you referring to a Repair, or the Recovery Console, or System Restore, or a System Recovery to factory defaults?


    SmitFraudFix is not going to help you at all. Are you saying you cannot boot up to your Desktop and that you cannot download and install anything??? If you say yes to both of those questions and you are 100% of your answer, then you will most likely be reinstalling unless you have the ability to do the below from the Windows Recovery Console
