    I have ran the Run me First and attached the requested logs. Im hardly running any programs on my machine and its using over 4.5GB of memory. When I view processes I dont see anything unusual using too much memory. When i visit performance my memory and cpu usage is over 50% just to run skype, ff and chrome.

    Please review the logs and let me know what I should do.

    Thanks,
    Jesse

    Uninstall Browser Manager

    Rerun Hitman and have it delete the following item, under the heading Malware:
    Also have it delete Suspicious files, Malware Remnants and Potentially Unwanted Programs.

    [IMG] Fix items using RogueKiller.

    Double-click RogueKiller.exe to run. (Vista/7 right-click and select Run as Administrator)
    When it opens, press the Scan button
    Now click the Registry tab and locate these 5 detections:

    • [HJ INPROC][ZeroAccess] HKCR\[...]\InprocServer32 : (C:\$Recycle.Bin\S-1-5-21-2119853154-108281473-1720115173-1000\$16684981d1919889f005ff579782d1b9\n. [x]) -> FOUND
    • [HJ INPROC][ZeroAccess] HKCR\[...]\InprocServer32 : (C:\$Recycle.Bin\S-1-5-18\$16684981d1919889f005ff579782d1b9\n. [x]) -> FOUND
    • [HJ INPROC][ZeroAccess] HKLM\[...]\InprocServer32 : (C:\$Recycle.Bin\S-1-5-18\$16684981d1919889f005ff579782d1b9\n. [x]) -> FOUND
    • [V1][SUSP PATH] DSite.job : C:\Users\stoi2m1\AppData\Roaming\DSite\UPDATE~1\UPDATE~1.EXE - /Check [-] -> FOUND
    • [V2][SUSP PATH] DSite : C:\Users\stoi2m1\AppData\Roaming\DSite\UPDATE~1\UPDATE~1.EXE - /Check [-] -> FOUND

    Place a checkmark each of these items, leave the others unchecked.
    Now press the Delete button.
    When it is finished, there will be a log on your desktop called: RKreport[2].txt
    Attach RKreport[2].txt to your next message. (How to attach)
    Reboot the machine.

    Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following (re-enable when you are finished):

    Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    • O2 - BHO: (no name) - {02478D38-C3F9-4efb-9B51-7695ECA05670} - (no file)
    • O2 - BHO: Babylon toolbar helper - {2EECD738-5844-4a99-B4B6-146BF802613B} - (no file)
    • O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5C255C8A-E604-49b4-9D64-90988571CECB} - (no file)
    • O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {98889811-442D-49dd-99D7-DC866BE87DBC} - (no file)
    After clicking Fix exit HJT.

    Delete this folder if it still exists:
    C:\ProgramData\Browser Manager

    Delete this file if it shows:
    C:\Windows\tasks\DSite.job

    [IMG] Please download Junkware Removal Tool to your desktop.
    • Please save the work in your browsers before proceeding.
    • Double-click JRT.exe to run (Vista/7 right-click and select Run as Administrator)
    • The tool will open and start scanning your system.
    • Please be patient as this can take a while to complete.
    • On completion, a log (JRT.txt) is saved to your desktop and will automatically open.
    • Please attach JRT.txt to your next message. (See: HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post )

    Now rerun both Hitman and RogueKiller and attach fresh logs from each please.

    Run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this.

    Let us know of any problems you may have encountered with the above instructions and also let me know how things are running now!

    Hitman Pro caused a 'missing operating system' error to appear upon reboot. I had to use system recovery >> command line and repair the MBR things were not quit right until I was able to run Hitman Pro again. This is a non issue now.

    Beyond that I still seem to be using entirely too much memory for the processes displaying in task manager. 41% of my memory is in use which is 3.2G. I have attached a screenshot of Task Manager with my current logs.

    Thank You,
    Jesse

    Hitman still shows a few Potential Unwanted Programs, please re run it again and have it remove those that are left.

    Apart from this, I am seeing nothing else to take care of here in the malware removal forum. I suggest that you visit the software forum for further assistance with any outstanding issues. :)

    If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Press and hold the Windows key [IMG] and then press the letter R on your keyboard. This opens the Run dialog box.
      • Copy and paste the below into the Run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
        • Notes: The space between the combofix and the /uninstall, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Renable your Disk Emulation software with Defogger if you had disabled it in step 4 of the READ & RUN ME.
    4. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    5. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    6. Now goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others) and running MGclean.bat did not remove them, you can delete these files now.
    8. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    9. If you are running Win 8, Win 7, Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below to flush restore points:
      • Refer to the instructions for your WIndows version in this link: Disable And Enable System Restore
      • What we want you to do is to first disable System Restore to flush restore points some of which could be infected.
      • Then we want you to Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    10. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
