Malwarebytes Causing Blue Screen Of Death

    A friend of mine has started having problems with his pc... After telling me his issues, I suggested he follow MajorGeek's malware removal guide. All was going well until he got to the Malwarebytes scan. Two minutes into the scan ... BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH!! I suggested he try a 2nd time and it happened again.

    Any one know why this might be happening??
    And what he can do to remedy the situation??
    He's running XP

    Some other program or malware may be causing this....however, if he is following the Read and Run First instruction, he just needs to continue on....as it states, if one thing does not run, move on to the next.

    Thats exactly what i did... I advised him to continue with the other scans.

    What da heck was i thinking using all that red!! :confused

    AHHHH!! IM BLIND!!
