Managed MAPI Service Catastrophic Failure. WTF?!

When ever I open Outlook 2003 I get a popup that
says"Managed MAPI Service Catastrophic Failure".

I click ok and another one opens. Very anoying. Does any
one know how to fix this?

Do you have Norton 2005 installed?

Did you recently install any .NET updates or software?

Also, is this XP SP2?

 

Also, do you have Quickbooks or Quicken installed?

 

I'm having the same problem with Outlook. I do have WinXP SP2, Quickbooks 2002, .NET updates. I've also been having a number of problems accessing POP3 email account on a regular basis. Reinstalling the account seems to help, though it is worse than annoying.

Any help would be appreciated. All the more if it speeds up AntiVirus 2005.

Where do I begin?
