    Hello

I'm running a pretty basic laptop here with 130,544 kb ram, pentium II processor and a 6 gig hard-drive, serves my purposes, only problem is I've got this file C:\WINNT\Driver Cache\i386 taking up a whoping 51,111kb which doesn't leave me a great deal to play with.

    Can anyone help?

    Many thanks

50 MB of 6,000 MB doesn't seem too steep to me.

    However:

You can safely delete C:\WINNT\Driver Cache\i386\Drivers.cab, although this will delete the store of drivers Windows has for new devices (existing devices are not affected). This means you'll need the Windows 2000 CD to install new devices (such as the first time you use a USB stick, the first time you install a USB mouse, etc.).

Also, keep in mind you can get a 60GB 2.5" HD for about $60.
