MB Opinion

Okay, I just received a free MB. It is a Asus P4SDX. Any opinions on how good it is. Now remember people, I did get it free.......... I still have to buy the CPU and Memory for it, Plus a better PS.

 

Not "cutting edge" today, but looks like a solid board, and if it's a good step up for YOUR system, it's the cheapest upgrade you'll probably ever see.

that is one pisspoor mobo, seen it in action (P4 2,4 / 1GB DDR / GF FX5700U) and it's so slow, instable and just annoying to set up.
that computer's been re-formatted about 12 times in 3 weeks now and it still refuses NOT to bsod winxp after being on for more than half an hour straight.

 

What do you mean in the Bold section of your quote? I do know what bsod means but not in the context of this..

 

he means that he cannot get it to stop having BSOD errors.

 

indeed, you power it up, leave it running with only the default installed stuff for 30 minutes *crash* bsod.
tried everything, it's just a pos mobo, gonna need a replacement.
