memory-cleaning programs

hi,

i have a decent hp comp, but it only has 256 mb of ram, and i have trouble running games like medieval total war. would a memory-boosting program help? if so, give me some links plz!

I have 288mb on my P2/400 but don't play games.

make sure that you turn off MaxMem (close) while playing games as it may interfere.
You can set 3 levels of cleaning and it runs automatically every 5 minutes or so which is probably inconvenient for game players. Baz

what sort of troubles are you having with the game. It is a pretty intensive game on the graphics card due to the number of objects on the screen.
