Ive searched (a little) on other threads about this, but it's mostly about overclocking...i don't want that. I have a P4 1.6ghz w/400mhz bus....ive read that it really only supports pc2100 ram at 266 mhz...i put in 512mb pc2700 (333mhz) ram. It's showing up as only 480 mb (prolly cause its pc2700). I cant oc it to 333, cause it wont boot...

my question is, is this configuration ok (leaving it alone at 480 mb), or will it cause problems in the future?

I'm guessing that the reason its saying 480mb is that the computer its on probably has 32 meg onboard video. but with out the specs on that particular pc its just a guess
