   My motherboard has 3 slots for memory sticks. It will hold up to 512 MB between the three. Does it matter if i only use 1 512 stick? Or 2 256 sticks? or is it better to use all three?

   If the motherboard will only operate with a grand total of 512 ...then I doubt that you will see much difference with either option ...
