Mia Geeks ? How About A Roll Call

There seems to be some Geeks Missing In Action. Some Geeks I have not seen around here for a while.
How about a Roll Call to see who is checking in from time to time or even lurkiing in the wings.

I come and go as I have been having a few eye operations since January and sight still not too flash
Last operation tomorrow at 2:50pm hopefully

 

Hope all goes well with the eyes Joffa. Can they do anything about the hairy palms?

I too have been having eye trouble. It's called "Wet Micaela degeneration.
My diabetes has messed with the small blood vessels around the retina.
In my left eye. Left me with a huge black dot (Not a Floater) in the center of my vision.
The Dr. put a bunch of pain killer in the eye then put three injections in the eye ball.
Seems to be helping. The dot has faded still, blurred

 

Howdy Bob. Your problem doesn't sound too good at all. I hope it keeps improving so wishing you a bit of good luck.
Ewww I don't like the thought of injections in the eye as I have had a few myself over the years and even with the pain killers it is still pretty uncomfortable especially when they put the retractor on your eyelids and you just want to blink.

My problem is that I woke up one morning in late January and everywhere I looked there were weird black cobwebs floating around in my field of vision in my left eye. My left eye is my good eye with about 16% sight and my right eye has only 6% so it was a bit of a worry.
Turns out I had a small tear in the vitreous membrane which made a hole in my retina and it was haemorrhaging into my eye. I have had a couple of rounds of surgery but I still have a lot of floaties probably caused by any remaining blood clots. Tomorrow they are going to check that the hole they repaired is not leaking and all the sealed off blood vessels around the tear are still good then they will break up any blood clots that haven't been reabsorbed and thus hopefully reducing the the last of the floaties. According to my two specialists, I should have a good outcome.
Still don't know what caused the tear in the first place

 

Bob and joffa it's painful to just read about eye injections so I can't imagine having it done. Hope all goes well for both of you.

I had my final eye op on Tuesday and all went very well so thanks to everyone for the kind thoughts

Yes! I almost always go to the 'Home' page first before signing in to the forums. I like the downloads and the news and off base items and random photos. So I'm @ mgeeks a lot even when not signed in.

It's a great service here, and the owners/operators have ever reason to be proud!

Still here checking Forums (and putting my two cents in) and at Home Page reading news, Way Off Base and downloading.

Like joffa and Bob D, I've got vision problems as well (bilateral cataracts [had surgery scheduled and cancelled twice], bilateral vitreous hemorrhages [still have "donuts" and feathering that hasn't completely dissipated] BUT, I've got a laptop with a larger screen and a lower resolution so, I'm not using the Screen Magnifier YET.

Life got stupidly busy and my online life has taken a kind of a giant backseat to my real one. Don't see that changing any time soon, but one never knows.
