    ok, hi all!

what im trying to do, is trick my pc intoi thinking that my micro sd card and usb adapter is a usb flash drive.

i have an alienware m11x (no cd drive) and i live in the middle of know where and i dont have a usb flash drive.

Im trying to install ubuntu but it wont work as it doesnt see a flash drive...

anyways, is there a program or a trick that will let me boot ubuntu from the sd card?

    Thanks

    KaTa

yeh thats what i have, finally got it sorted, but the main problem im having now is with ubuntu itself.

Boots fine, then when preparing to install, it just hangs after i hit next, once its found my internet/power/hdd space.

Glad you got it sorted out. You might want to go to the Linux forum for your Ubuntu problem. Lots of helpful people over there.
