Microsoft Beta Antispyware problem

    I recently had a problem with this program using up all the CPU, and with some difficulty managed to uninstall the program. Computer now works well but doesn't recognize my floppy disc drive. I have power to the drive, I've tried replacing the drive and also the cable with no success. Any suggestions? Thank you for your kindness in helping me.

    Try deleting the floppy disk contoller from Device Manager. And then reboot your PC. Hopefully it will detect the hardware and reinstall the drivers. I'm guessing that's the problem. Other that what I suggest, I would say if it does not work, to try posting a message in the Hardware Forum.

    By the way, when you uninstalled MS Antispyware, how did you do it? You make it sound like you did not just use the uninstall program (Add/Remove programs).
