Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator vs. .Net 2.0???

    Hi,

    I have winxp, current SP and .Net 2.0

    The setup of Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator 1.3.4073 fails
    telling me to install .Net 1.0 or 1.1 first.

    Any workarounds for that?
    I need the Layout Creator quite badly.
    (Or can I install .Net 1.0 or 1.1 too?)

    Or is there a different Keyboard Layout Creator downloadable as freeware anywhere?

    Possible Workaround:
    I have another computer where I could install .Net 1.0.
    Are they layout portable so that I could move the created layout
    from the computer to my laptop?

    Hi you can install .Net 1.0 and .Net 1.1 as they are all standalone and not rollups to .Net 2.0 or the newer .Net 3.0 ( yep a beta is avail at this time in .net 3.5 but not worth installing that yet ).
