    Hi

    Just to clarify, you will need to have a retail version of Office 2010 already installed to update the likes of Word, the Service Pack although listed as free as all Microsoft Service Packs (for consumer products) are free.

    But the Service Pack will not install for Free Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote and Access etc onto a PC that doesnt already have a version (SKU) of Office 2010.

    Do you have Office 2010 installed and if so what version, Basic, Home and Student, Home and Business , Standard Professional Plus (although Standard and Professional Plus are volume enterprise licences)?

    Oh well, got office 2010 sp1 running on my work computer and at home. No issues as of yet.
