Microsofts Malicious Software Removal Tool

    Maybe this is the start of Microsoft developing an AntiVirus program, won't be their first time tho as they has one in the 80s.

    This one acts similar to McAfees Stinger and aims for specific Virii/trojans.

    Darn, I haven't even have time to dl the spyware scanner you posted about last week! :eek: I can't keep up! :D

    They had something similar for win98 recently. I was doing my updates and they had me intall some kind of tool for removing the mydoom series, but I don't know what it did as it didn't have a results screen. I'm not sure what the update number was, but I'm sure its in their archives somewhere.:cool:
