Micrososft Photo Editor - W8?

Hi.

Over the years I have got real used to using Microsoft Photo Editor as default. Its simple and does what I need (I make flyers in Publisher as a Promoter).

Recently upgraded to W8 which I am happy with - but really need MPE - Google gives various options but Im sure there must be a version of it that will run with W8.

I found a link at softpile.com but despite the waffle my comp says "not compatible". Any ideas please.

Arrgh - now I have a seperate issue. I am using Publisher W8 to compile graphic flyers - its fine but does not include the "magic wand" tool that edits solid colour backgrounds. Any ide how I can get it as an add on if possible?

If you can wait a few more months (fall of 2013), a upgraded version of MS OS Windows 8.1 will solve you problem. It will include the basic photo editor (MPE). Please read the following URL....
