Minor problem with my Firefox

It seems that everytime I click to start firefox the connection settings for it go to a proxy server rather than just directly connecting to the internet.

What might be the problem? This happens everytime I start firefox, even after I switch the settings to direct connect...

 

Not exactly certain what your problem is, as FF should go to your home page on start-up, so I guess my question would be your home page setting, also if you go to the following site:- http://forums.mozillazine.org/index.php?c=4 which is also in your FF bookmark file you will find an answer within minutes, if you do not find an answer in FaQ.
