Mircosoft Problems

last week I lost my E for internet explorer , my Msn messager , and also my media player , outlook express , I look into internet explorer and it has no Version or any other information , I cannot run my Norton utilites , So I cannot download a new copy because it says mine copy is a greater version . Also my Media player gets a Internal error now , Running Windows XP Home

regsvr32.exe jscript.dll

this worked what does these do ? because I have been working with the guys from hijackthis .

It reregistered jscript.dll, which is responsible for all javascript functions in the OS.
