missing mbr, moved hdd, now what's happening

    Hey people, I posted earlier about getting a missing/corrupted mbr stop on post, then having the system crash with no monitor or post actions ..... so I moved the hdd to a different computer(disconnected the hdd in that computer and sustituted) and the damn thing fired right up ..... found all the new hardware setting for this computer and the new drives that I swapped into it. Sweet ....but what does that mean ..... bad mobo on the other computer/ or failed cpu? Any insight would be appreciated.
