missing start menu shortcut.

it gone missing and doesn't load either when i open applications.how to enabled it again?thanks a lot.

 

Three separate "possible" workaround options for the "Missing Start Menu Button" problem:

First try running the scannow sfc tool in Windows XP. If you do not know how to do this...
(Option 1) Check out this site: How to use the scannow sfc tool in Windows XP

If that does not work, try:
(Option 2) Check for and install #289 "Start Menu - Enable" from kellys-korner-xp.com

If that does not work:
(Option 3) Also try #117 Restore Taskbar and Start Menu from kellys-korner-xp.com
(that is, if #289 does not work for you)
