Monitor blurry w/ extension

    I have a Dell Dimension 5150 w/ a 19" Flat screen.
    The way the system is set, the monitor's cord needs an extension to connect.
    I grabbed a monitor extension cable form a computer store but I am wondering if there is a beefer cord that will make the picture clearer.
