Hi, Please can someone help me.

My mum's Monitor screen is wavy and flickery when she starts her PC up.

Then gets worse as time goes by.

After about 1 hour it sounds like wind comes from computer base and her red light is flickering a lot as well.

She has to close her computer down when it starts putting large wide wavy lines across the screen.

Also when she starts to play a game the lines get really bad.

I have done scans, by Dr web and Microsoft Essentials and she has no problems there.

I have also updated all her drivers and the problem is still there.

Does anyone know what this may be if so please can you let me know.

    Thanks

Have you tried another monitor to isolate if it is a monitor or a computer problem?

Make and model of computer (also version of windows) so I can see the video card/chip in the computer and driver you should be using.

Also, could you install a program such as http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php <-- speedfan and report the temperature it displays for "GPU"?

Have you recently cleaned the inside of your computer or done any other dust removal activities on it?

Before you spend time downloading drivers, check what you have. If your drivers are from 2010 then you have the proper drivers.
