More Google Redirect Issues

Hi Major Geeks,
I am new to these forums, so please be gentle. I am having a Google Redirect Issue. It sends me to some scour.com website and a lot of other random ones. I have looked at many, many posts, and I don't see an obvious solution. I have two user accounts on my laptop (thanks to linux not liking spaces) and I mainly use firefox and sometimes chrome. The entries in the host files are valid from the scans. I ran all of the scans requested per the instructions. I have attached the logs. I believe this has been occurring about 2 weeks or at least that is when I suspected some virus and/or hijackware was causing this issue.

Yes, I am aware of those entries in my host file. Those are ok. The problem appears in firefox. I don't really use IE, and chrome seems to be ok as far as I can tell.
I reran Hitman and had it delete the Malware remnants. I wasn't sure if I should change all of the items flagged as ignore to delete.

Thank you for your help. I really, really don't want to wipe my OS and start all over again.

OK, I followed your instructions and have attached the log file. I think this program may have done the trick. I have been trying to make it redirect, but so far it is behaving. :cool

Can you explain to me which software was the likely cause of this malware? Also, I would like to know why this program worked and the others did not?

I REALLY appreciate your help !! What a good first support forum experience.
