More life for AGP users

New AGP cards from Gainward, 7800gs w/ 512 RAM and 24 pixel pipes!

whether or not its worth the extra $100 over an X850XT PE is another question, and can only be answered by tha games you intend to play and their performance with and without Pixel Shader 3.0 (the nvidia card has it, the X850XT PE doesnt).

 

i know that its been out for a while, in fact im getting one soon these are special edition cards, comparable to a 7800gt and 7900gt; 512 RAm with either 20 or 24 pixel pipes. Cool, hmm?

 

oh sweet, my mistake, should have looked into it more before assuming

a very good idea seeing as AGP8x is still going strong and can use the cards very well.

 

only 1500 cards, damn wonder how much their going to cost?

 

Prolly more than a decent pci-e mobo and a 7900gtx bundle

 

i read somewhere that there will be 7900 series card for agp from nvidia's partners.
