Motocross Madness 2 install probs

I am trying to install MCM2 back into my computer. I used to have it installed, but we removed at one time. I am getting the :


"Setup cannot install system files or update shared files if the files are in use. Before continuing close any applications"

I have checked and removed all files (I think) pertaining to this game, it still wont load. I am using XP, and I can install and run the older version of MCM with no problem. I can also download and install the trial version with no problems. I have even tried a brandnew CD and it still gives me the same error message.

One more item...

If I try and continue, I get the EBU12.exe error message. Although the number after EBU is usually different each time I try.
